Announcements / Summary of Changes

"Summary of Changes"

II. a) Voter Registration opened at the Annual Reno Meeting and closes midnight December 31, 2018 PST.

b) The Nominating Round begins February 1, 2019 and ends midnight February 28, 2019 PST.

c) The Preliminary Voting Round begins March 4, 2019 and ends midnight March 31, 2019 PDT.

d) The Final Voting Round begins April 4, 2019 and ends midnight April 30, 2019 PDT.

EXPLANATION:  The Voter Registration period opened at the Annual Reno Meeting and closes midnight 12/31/18 to allow prospective voters more time to register.  The Nomination and Preliminary Voting Round results will not be posted until after completion of the respective rounds.  The Final Voting Round results will be disclosed at the LPIN Awards Banquet.

III. b) LPIN Awards voter registrants must provide LPIN Awards Registered Voter or LPIN Awards Committee member references that have met them in person.  Prospective voter registrants who desire to be added to the Official LPIN 2018 Awards Registered Voters List must submit a Voter Registration Form during the voter registration period.  They must provide their handle, email address, and the handles of LPIN Awards Registered Voters that have met them in person.   Voter registrants who haven't met any LPIN Awards registered voters must list all the LPIN Courtesans and others in our community that have met them in person for committee evaluation and confirmation at the committee's discretion.

EXPLANATION: There aren't enough LPIN Awards registered voters to verify every legitimate voter registrant who desires to register to vote.  Therefore LPIN Courtesans and others in the community may verify voter registrants subject to LPIN Awards Committee confirmation.  Voter registrant LPIN clients must be verified that they are not known by another handle and they have registered only once.  Note: LPIN Awards voter registrants should list several references for proper verification; furthermore, it increases the likelihood of a response.

IV. c) A Registered Voter email address change may be requested by sending a PM to the LPIN Awards Committee or email to vote@lpinawards.com.  Voters must include their handle, old email address, new email address, and the committee will process the change.  Alternatively, registered voters may reregister during the voter registration period.

EXPLANATION: The LPIN Awards contact email is exclusively vote@lpinawards.com for simplicity and consistency.

V. a) Voters must enter their handle and voter registration or LPIN Awards board email address when casting ballots for their selected candidates.  Therefore, it's imperative to record the precise handle and email address submitted for registration purposes, since it must be provided in nominating and voting rounds.  The LPIN Awards Committee will not be able to provide voters their registration information, since it's the voters' responsibility to retain it.  Voters who can't remember their registration information must reregister during the next registration period.

EXPLANATION: There were a few voters last year that entered their LPIN Awards board email address instead of their voter registration email address.  They evidently thought that registering on the board with a different email address would change their voter registration email address; however, the committee could not know their actual intentions.  Therefore, either email address will be forthwith accepted since it would be confidential to the individual registered voter.

VII. a) The top five candidates in each category from the Preliminary Voting Round will proceed to the Final Voting Round.  However, BOY category finalists will be limited to 50% of the total eligible candidates.

EXPLANATION:  There are a total of seven eligible BOY candidates, so there should be no more than four advancing to the final round for an efficient narrowing of the field.

VII. c) In case of a tie for first place in the BOY or RBOY categories at the end of the Final Voting Round, the tie will be broken in favor of the candidate receiving the earliest vote involved in the tie according to the date and time stamped ballot.

EXPLANATION:  Multiple winner awards will be presented in the COY category in case of a tie for first place.

II. a) Voter Registration opened at the Annual Reno Meeting and closes midnight December 31, 2018 PST.

b) The Nominating Round begins February 1, 2019 and ends midnight February 28, 2019 PST.

c) The Preliminary Voting Round begins March 4, 2019 and ends midnight March 31, 2019 PDT.

d) The Final Voting Round begins April 4, 2019 and ends midnight April 30, 2019 PDT.

III. a) It is hereby stipulated that Courtesan clients or actual brothel patrons that visit brothels and party be the persons to cast ballots in the nominating and voting rounds.  Therefore, Courtesans, brothel management and employees shall be precluded from registering to vote and casting ballots in LPIN Awards contests.

b) LPIN Awards voter registrants must provide LPIN Awards Registered Voter or LPIN Awards Committee member references that have met them in person.  Prospective voter registrants who desire to be added to the Official LPIN 2018 Awards Registered Voters List must submit a Voter Registration Form during the voter registration period.  They must provide their handle, email address, and the handles of LPIN Awards Registered Voters that have met them in person.   Voter registrants who haven't met any LPIN Awards registered voters must list all the LPIN Courtesans and others in our community that have met them in person for committee evaluation and confirmation.

c) Voter Registrants' references must verify that they have met the prospective registrant in person before they will be added to the Official LPIN 2018 Awards Registered Voters List subject to LPIN Awards Committee confirmation.

IV. a) LPIN Awards registered voters who still meet the registration requirements do not need to register again.  It's recommended LPIN Awards registered voters check the Official Registered Voters List for LPIN 2018 Awards to make certain their voter handle is still registered.

b) Voters whose handles have been removed from the LPIN Awards Registered Voters List must reregister during the voter registration period.  Voters that fail to cast a ballot in the last two LPIN contests will be removed from the following year's Registered Voters List.

c) A Registered Voter email address change may be requested by sending a PM to the LPIN Awards Committee or email to vote@lpinawards.com.  Voters must include their handle, old email address, new email address, and the committee will process the change.  Alternatively, registered voters may reregister during the voter registration period.

V. a) Voters must enter their handle and voter registration or LPIN Awards board email address when casting ballots for their selected candidates.  Therefore, it's imperative to record the precise handle and email address submitted for registration purposes, since it must be provided in nominating and voting rounds.  The LPIN Awards Committee will not be able to provide voters their registration information, since it's the voters' responsibility to retain it.  Voters who can't remember their registration information must reregister during the next registration period.

b) Registered Voters will be allowed to submit only one nomination or one vote in each round of the contest for each of the three categories.  Each person is allowed only one ballot in each of the three contest rounds.  A voter will not be allowed to change their vote once it has been submitted and accepted.  Only the first valid ballot in a given round will be accepted by that handle with follow-up ballots being ignored.

c) Any nomination or vote submitted without the registered voter handle and email address will be declared invalid.  Those voters will not be contacted, and their ballot will not count.  However, a ballot rejection notation will be posted on the list of voters who participated in that round of the contest.  It is imperative that voters check the list of voters that participated in each round of the contest to confirm that their ballots were received, accepted and counted.

VI. a) Individuals circumventing the rules (using multiple or duplicate handles to vote or otherwise illegitimately casting ballots) shall be immediately stricken from the Registered Voters List. Their ballots shall be disqualified, and henceforth they shall be prohibited from participating in LPIN Awards contests.

History of the LPIN Awards

In 2017, the Awards Committee conducted nominations in February, voting in March through April and selected awards for 2016 Courtesan of the Year, Brothel of the Year, and Rural brothel of the Year.  The committee consisted of firefighter, highdrive, Lecher, Little Richard, Mikey, and MrTShirt.  Mikey hosted his second Annual Awards Banquet.  All fifteen finalists, Alice Little, Coco, Kitti Minx, Rachel Varga, Victoria, Chicken Ranch, Love Ranch, Mustang Ranch, Sagebrush Ranch, Sheri's Ranch, Alien Cathouse, Desert Club, Dovetail Ranch, Inez's D&D and Mona's Ranch, were presented framed certificates, and the three winners, Rachel Varga, Mustang Ranch and Dovetail Ranch, were presented framed certificates plus Crystal Art Duet Flame Awards.  Rachel Varga of Mustang Ranch won Courtesan of the Year on her first nomination and first year in LPIN, Mustang Ranch won their fourth consecutive Brothel of the Year, and the Dovetail Ranch won their fifth Rural Brothel of the Year.  Rachel Varga and Madam Tara attended and accepted the COY and BOY awards respectively.  Lee delivered and presented the RBOY Award to Madam Monica at the Dovetail Ranch on Saturday following the Awards Banquet.  Mikey held a Hawaiian shirt contest and Dtech was the winner; Jade Capri donated the $50 prize and Dtech very generously donated it back to the awards committee fund.

The cwmcawards.com website was permanently shutdown on August 15, 2017 in preparation for termination.  Subsequently, the Awards Committee registered two domains and constructed two websites.  CWMC Awards, cwmcawards.net, was established to preserve the history of the awards.  LPIN Awards, lpinawards.com, was established to continue the awards contests.  The Awards Committee had permanently separated from SIN, so the decision was made to coordinate the awards contests under LPIN Awards.  There were multiple legitimate reasons for this decision.  LPIN Awards does not have an affiliation or relationship with any other organization, but CWMC Awards had a historic connection to SIN which the awards committee felt must be severed.  Also, the CWMC acronym carried an unsavory connotation that LPIN Awards does not possess.  LPIN Awards better defines the awards, and may be more socially acceptable while not being offensive to Courtesans.  LPIN Awards is totally separate and independent; therefore, registered voters are not required to be members of any other message board.  All LPIN Courtesans who worked during the award year (except previous winners) or Brothels that operated during the period would be eligible candidates.

The LPIN Awards Committee would like to acknowledge and thank Courtesan of the Year Rachel Varga for donating an exceptionally generous gift of professional web developer custom services to configure the LPIN Awards websites to awards committee specifications.  The Awards Committee would not have been able to administer a first-rate contest without Rachel Varga's contribution, and may not have been able to coordinate a 2017 contest period.  The LPIN Community owes Rachel a great debt of gratitude for her benevolence and generosity.

In 2018, the LPIN 2017 Awards contest was coordinated with the Nomination Round in February 2018, the Preliminary Voting Round in March 2018, the Final Voting Round in April 2018, and the awards were presented at the LPIN Awards Banquet on July 20, 2018.  The LPIN Awards Committee conducted voting and selected awards for Courtesan of the Year, Brothel of the Year, and Rural Brothel of the Year.  The Official LPIN 2017 Awards Registered Voters List increased by 29 voters due largely to the fact that LPIN Awards is totally independent and not affiliated with any message board.  The committee consisted of firefighter, FumbleNutts, highdrive, Little Richard, Mikey and MrTShirt.  Mikey hosted the Annual Banquet for the third straight year, and it was promoted as the LPIN Awards Banquet to avoid confusion due to the proposed organization of a competitive awards contest.  All fifteen finalists, Lexie James, Roxy, Roxy Gold, Vanity Affair, Victoria, Chicken Ranch, Love Ranch, Mustang Ranch, Sagebrush Ranch, Sheri's Ranch, Desert Club, Dovetail Ranch, Inez's D&D, Love Ranch South and Mona's Ranch, were presented framed finalist certificates, and the three winners, Roxy, Mustang Ranch and Dovetail Ranch, were presented framed winner certificates plus Crystal Art Triad Flame Awards.

Roxy of Dovetail Ranch won LPIN 2017 Awards Courtesan of the Year on her first nomination, Mustang Ranch won their fifth consecutive Brothel of the Year, and Dovetail Ranch won their sixth Rural Brothel of the Year award.  Roxy, Madam Monica, Madam Tara and Madam Jennifer attended and accepted the COY, RBOY and BOY awards respectively.  Interested bystander and Rachel Varga were presented Certificates of Appreciation for their assistance to ensure the continuation of the awards contests.  In addition, Rachel Varga was presented a Crystal Art Triad Flame 2016 Courtesan of the Year Award, since it was appropriate that she receive the first LPIN Award due to her support of the awards contests and generous gift of professional web developer services.  Rachel Varga's BrothelLife was recognized as the Best Independent Forum.  Goldie was presented a Most Respected Hoserette Certificate.  Mikey held a Hawaiian shirt contest and Dtech was the winner for the second straight year.

In 2019, the LPIN 2018 Awards contest was coordinated with the Nomination Round in February 2019, the Preliminary Voting Round in March 2019, the Final Voting Round in April 2019, and the certificates and awards were presented at the LPIN Awards Banquet on July 19, 2019.  The LPIN Awards Committee conducted voting and selected awards for Courtesan of the Year, Brothel of the Year, and Rural Brothel of the Year.  The LPIN Awards Committee consisted of firefighter, FumbleNutts, highdrive, Little Richard, Mikey and MrTShirt.  Little Richard is the awards team's senior member and advisor, and this marked Little Richard's 12th consecutive year serving on the awards committee.  Mikey hosted the Annual LPIN Awards Banquet for the fourth straight year.  All fourteen finalists, Dahlia, Lily, Roxy Gold, Vanity Affair, Victoria, Chicken Ranch, Mustang Ranch, Sagebrush Ranch, Sheri's Ranch, Alien Cathouse, Dovetail Ranch, Inez's D&D, Love Ranch South and Mona's Ranch, were presented framed finalist certificates, and the four winners, Roxy Gold, Victoria, Mustang Ranch and Dovetail Ranch, were presented framed winner certificates plus Crystal Art Triad Flame Awards.

Roxy Gold of Sagebrush Ranch and Victoria of Mustang Ranch won LPIN 2018 Awards Courtesan of the Year, Mustang Ranch won their sixth consecutive Brothel of the Year, and Dovetail Ranch won their seventh Rural Brothel of the Year.  Roxy Gold & Victoria, Roxy, Jameson & Belle, and Madam Tara & Madam Jennifer attended and accepted the COY, RBOY and BOY awards respectively.  Sheri was presented a Certificate of Appreciation for continued support of the awards contests, COY Sash & Tiara assistance, and co-hosting the Annual Picnic.  Mikey was presented a Certificate of Appreciation for continued support of the awards contests, four consecutive time banquet host, active committee member, and vote counter.  Little Richard was presented a 12 Year Service Commendation for continuous awards committee assistance as an active committee member, advisor, and vote counter.  In addition, Rachel Varga was presented a Crystal Art Triad Flame "Major Contributor" Award for her generous donation of professional web developer services and extensive technical assistance throughout LPIN Awards two year existence.

In 2020, the LPIN 2019 Awards contest was coordinated with the Nomination Round in February 2020, the Preliminary Voting Round in March 2020, the Final Voting Round in April 2020, and the certificates and awards were presented at Interested bystander and Sheri's Picnic on July 18, 2020 where 18 people attended.  The LPIN Awards Committee conducted voting and selected awards for Courtesan of the Year, Brothel of the Year, and Rural Brothel of the Year.  The LPIN Awards Committee consisted of 1Bytetoomany, firefighter, FumbleNutts, highdrive, Lee, Little Richard, Mikey and MrTShirt.  Firefighter, Little Richard and MrTShirt planned to host the Annual LPIN Awards Banquet but it was cancelled by the venue due to gathering restrictions; therefore, LPIN 2019 Awards were presented at Interested bystander and Sheri's Picnic.  All fourteen finalists, CiCi, Dahlia, Lena Starr, Tori, Vanity Affair, Chicken Ranch, Mustang Ranch, Sagebrush Ranch, Sheri's Ranch, Alien Cathouse, Dovetail Ranch, Inez's D&D, Mona's Ranch and Sue's Fantasy Club, were presented framed finalist certificates, and the three winners, Vanity Affair, Mustang Ranch and Dovetail Ranch, were presented framed winner certificates plus Crystal Art Triad Flame Awards.

Vanity Affair of Dovetail Ranch won LPIN 2019 Awards Courtesan of the Year, Mustang Ranch won their seventh consecutive Brothel of the Year, and Dovetail Ranch won their eighth Rural Brothel of the Year.  Vanity Affair accepted the Courtesan of the Year Award with tears in her eyes.  Jagged accepted the Brothel of the Year Award for Mustang Ranch.  Lee accepted the Rural Brothel of the Year Award for Dovetail Ranch.  Special Appreciation Certificates were presented to Bashful who is the CWMC founder, DJ Jorge who edited LPIN Awards HTML ballots enabling the contests to be continued, dtech for professional photographer services, Jagged for his colorful Jagged Awards, and Just Tom & Shovel for providing their barbecuing talents at the Annual Picnics.

In 2021, the LPIN 2020 Awards contest was coordinated with the Nomination Round in February 2021, the Preliminary Voting Round in March 2021, the Final Voting Round in April 2021, and the certificates and awards were presented at LPIN Awards Banquet MMXXI on July 16, 2021 where 60 people attended.  The LPIN Awards Committee conducted voting and selected Crystal Art Awards for All Time Favorite Courtesan of the Year, Courtesan of the Year, Brothel of the Year, and Rural Brothel of the Year.  The LPIN Awards Committee consisted of 1Bytetoomany, DJ Jorge, firefighter, FumbleNutts, Lee, Little Richard and MrTShirt.  Firefighter, Little Richard and MrTShirt hosted the Annual LPIN Awards Presentations for the second straight year.  All nineteen finalists, Lexy, Rachel Varga, Roxy, Roxy Gold, Shanice, Bailey Paige, Chelsea London, Dahlia, Dennae, Morgan, Chicken Ranch, Mustang Ranch, Sagebrush Ranch, Sheri's Ranch, Alien Cathouse, Desert Club, Dovetail Ranch, Inez's D&D and Mona's Ranch, were presented framed finalist certificates, and the four winners, Rachel Varga, Dahlia, Mustang Ranch and Dovetail Ranch, were presented framed winner certificates plus Crystal Art Triad Flame Awards.

Rachel Varga of Mustang Ranch won All Time Favorite Courtesan of the Year, Dahlia of Chicken Ranch won LPIN 2020 Awards Courtesan of the Year, Mustang Ranch won their eighth consecutive Brothel of the Year, and Dovetail Ranch won their ninth Rural Brothel of the Year.  Rachel Varga accepted the All Time Favorite Courtesan of the Year award.  Dahlia accepted the Courtesan of the Year Award.  Madam Tara accepted the Brothel of the Year Award for Mustang Ranch.  Madam Monica accepted the Rural Brothel of the Year Award for Dovetail Ranch.  A Special Appreciation Certificate was presented to Logcabin who served on the awards committee, and provided assistance at the Annual Banquet for many years.  The awards committee would like to thank Rachel Varga and Funmonger for their generous banquet donations.  A Special 14 Year Service Commendation was presented to Little Richard who is the senior active participating awards committee member, advisor, vote counter, and 2012, 2013 & 2021 banquet host.
