Additionally, a Courtesan may have started her LPIN career during the calendar year 2022. However, a Courtesan who worked in LPIN prior to the calendar year 2022 or had previously been nominated for Courtesan of the Year or Hall of Fame is ineligible regardless of her working name.

II. a) LPIN Awards Forum and Voter Registration opens September 1, 2023 and closes midnight January 1, 2024 PT.

b) The Nominating Round begins 12:01 am April 9, 2024 and ends midnight April 18, 2024 PT.
The previous contest's Courtesan of the Year Finalists who are eligible for the current contest will automatically be nominees.

c) The Preliminary Voting Round begins 12:01 am April 20, 2024 and ends midnight April 29, 2024 PT.

d) The FINAL Voting Round begins 12:01 am May 1, 2024 and ends midnight May 10, 2024 PT.

e) The awards committee will email, PM or post on LPIN forums ballot links during the preliminary and final voting rounds reminding registered voters to cast their ballots.  Therefore, it is required that LPIN Awards forum members and registered voters submit VALID email addresses for our records.

III. a) It is hereby stipulated that Courtesan clients or brothel customers who patronize brothels or party be the persons to cast ballots in the nominating and voting rounds, since their perspective is essential for an unbiased patron's point of view.  Therefore, Courtesans, brothel management and employees shall be precluded from registering to vote and casting ballots in LPIN Awards contests.

b) LPIN Awards voter registrants must register on the LPIN Awards forum before they will be approved for the Official Registered Voters List for LPIN 2023 Awards.  LPIN Awards Forum Member and Voter Registration email addresses must be well known providers like Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, or etcetera.  VPN registration, Virtual Private Network, is prohibited since it hides a member's real IP address and encrypts their internet connection.

c) Prospective voter registrants who desire to be added to the Official LPIN Awards Registered Voters List must submit a Voter Registration Form during the voter registration period.  They must provide their forum handle and VALID email address.  LPIN Awards voter registrants must provide LPIN Awards Registered Voter or LPIN Awards Committee member references of people they have met in person.  Voter registrants who haven't met any LPIN Awards registered voters must list several LPIN Courtesans and others in our community they have met in person for committee evaluation and confirmation.

d) Voter Registrants' references must verify that they have met the prospective registrant in person before they will be added to the Official LPIN 2023 Awards Registered Voters List subject to LPIN Awards Committee confirmation.

IV. a) LPIN Awards registered voters who still meet the registration requirements do not need to register again.  It is recommended that LPIN Awards registered voters check the Official Registered Voters List for LPIN 2023 Awards to make certain their voter handle is still listed.

b) Voters whose handles have been removed from the LPIN Awards Registered Voters List must reregister on the LPIN Awards Forum and submit a voter registration form during the voter registration period.  Voters that fail to cast a valid ballot in the current contest will be removed from the following year's Registered Voters List.  Also, registered voters must maintain active LPIN Awards forum membership.

c) A Registered Voter email address change may be requested by sending a PM to the LPIN Awards Administrator or email vote@lpinawards.com.  Voters must include their handle, old email address, new email address, and the committee will process the change.  Alternatively, registered voters may reregister during the voter registration period.

V. a) Voters must enter their handle and voter registration or LPIN Awards board email address when casting ballots for their selected candidates.  Therefore, it is imperative to record the precise handle and email address submitted for registration purposes, since it must be provided in nominating and voting rounds.  The LPIN Awards Committee is not able to provide voters their registration information during the contest, since it's the voters responsibility to retain it.  Voters who can not remember their registration information must PM the LPIN Awards forum Administrator or reregister during the next registration period.

b) Registered Voters will be allowed to submit only one nomination or one vote in each round of the contest for each of the five categories.  Each registered voter is allowed only one valid ballot in each of the three contest rounds.  A voter will not be allowed to change their vote once it has been submitted and accepted.  Only the first valid ballot in a given round will be accepted by that handle with follow up ballots being ignored.

c) Any nomination or vote submitted without the registered voter handle and email address will be rejected.  Those voters will not be contacted, and their ballot will not count.  However, a ballot rejection notation will be posted on the list of voters who participated in that round of the contest.  It is imperative that voters check the list of voters that participated in each round of the contest to confirm that their ballots were received, accepted and counted.

VI. a) Individuals circumventing the rules (using multiple or duplicate handles to vote or otherwise illegitimately casting ballots) shall be immediately stricken from the Registered Voters List. Their ballots shall be disqualified, and henceforth they shall be prohibited from participating in LPIN Awards contests.

VII. a) All eligible nominees will proceed to the Preliminary Voting Round.  The top five candidates in each category from the Preliminary Voting Round will proceed to the FINAL Voting Round.  However, BOY category finalists will be limited to 50% of the total eligible candidates or at least four.

b) In case of a tie for fifth place in COY, RCOY, RBOY or HOF categories and fourth place in BOY categories at the end of the Preliminary Voting Round, the tie will be broken in favor of the candidate receiving the earliest vote involved in the tie according to the date and time stamped ballot.  The BOY category will be limited to four finalists maximum.

c) In case of a tie for first place in the BOY or RBOY categories at the end of the FINAL Voting Round, the tie will be broken in favor of the candidate receiving the earliest vote involved in the tie according to the date and time stamped ballot.  In case of a Courtesan concurrently being a Finalist in both COY and RCOY, they are only eligible to win one or the other.  Furthermore, in case of a tie for third place in the HOF category at the end of the FINAL Voting Round, the tie will be broken in favor of the candidate receiving the earliest vote involved in the tie according to the date and time stamped ballot.

d) The 28th Annual LPIN Gathering runs Tuesday July 16, 2024 thru Sunday July 21, 2024.  COY, RCOY, BOY & RBOY WINNERS and Hall of Fame Inductees will be recognized & honored at the LPIN Awards Banquet Hosted on Friday July 19, 2024 in Reno Nevada.  Crystal Art Awards will be presented to COY, RCOY, BOY, RBOY and HOF Winners or Inductees currently active in LPIN if stipulated in the contest announcement.

VIII. a) There shall be absolutely NO PHOTOGRAPHY allowed inside the banquet room except by the official designated photographers.  Attendees' phones must be out of sight with their ringers turned off.  Furthermore, banquet attendees must conduct themselves in a respectful manner being attentive, courteous and withholding questions or comments until conclusion of the awards presentations.  Only scheduled speakers will be allowed to address the banquet in the essence of time and to maintain proper order.  Violators will be banned from participation in future LPIN Awards contests and awards banquets.

IX. a) The LPIN Awards Committee will address unforeseen circumstances, issues or problems that arise, provide interpretation of the rules, or analyze situations not specifically covered by the rules, and issue a conclusive resolution by majority vote of the LPIN Awards Committee.
